Happy 2012. Time is approaching for our Brooklyn show and unveiling of the COMPLETED Auto-Paint USA paintings. On Wednesday, February 29th from 7pm to 9pm the Montauk Club of Park Slope will be hosting an opening complete with wine and snacks. The paintings will be on display for the following 5 days, but please be sure to mark down the 29th on your calenders.
The past few months have been filled with painting in our respective studios, organizing our video clips for a short documentary and applying for further grants/residencies to keep the project's momentum moving. The occasional side-job is needed to pay the bills here in NY, but painting has been consistent and I'm very excited about the opening next month.
That said, we haven't forgotten about everyone!
The historic Montauk Club is located near Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn at 25 8th Avenue. The 2/3(Grand Army Plaza stop) and Q(7th Avenue) can be taken from manhattan to get to the club. We hope to see all of you New Yorkers there!
